NAON Wants You to be a Leader!
NAON is continuously seeking members interesting in serving in a leadership position. There are a variety of ways to get involved with NAON's Committees and Task Forces, as a Special Interest Group Facilitator, or on the NAON Executive Board.
The ideal leadership volunteer:

Has current involvement in Orthopaedic Nursing within the past (5) years and three (3) years active involvement in NAON on a national or local level are recommended prior to nomination.

Demonstrates the ability to work well with others.

Demonstrates leadership qualities, writing abilities, organizational and communication skills.

Ability and willingness to commit the necessary time and travel

President Elect

Term: Succeeds to President and Immediate Past President, total 3 years commitment.

Secretary

Treasurer

Oversees all financial aspects of the Association

Presents Financial reports to Executive Board and annual business meeting

Experience in financial management & budget preparation essential

Director

Term: 3 years, elected according to Bylaws

Serves as Executive Board liaison to committees, task forces and contractors
