Call for 2009 Presentations and Posters
The 2009 Call for Proposals for presentations is now closed. The call for poster proposals will remain open until September 12, 2008. Please submit your poster proposals online.

For Presentation Proposals
Proposal must include title, purpose, two objectives, summary of content, and implications for orthopaedic nursing. Identify level of the presentation using the scale on the form. Most presentations will be 50 minutes in length with a 10-minute question/answer period; however, there may be an opportunity for an extended session. Complimentary registration for the date of the presentation and a flat honorarium will be provided to one speaker per session. Travel and housing arrangements will be the responsibility of the speaker.
For Poster Proposals
Poster presenters are expected to register for the conference and assume all arrangements and costs related to the poster session. Posters will be judged during the exhibition and awards will be presented for top Research and top Clinical Poster.
Research Posters:
Research proposals should include the following:
Study Title and Author - Abstract no more than 500 words to include:
- Study Purpose
- Background/Framework
- Research Questions/hypothesis
- Methodology
- Data collection
- Data Analysis and Findings
- Implications
- Conclusion

Clinical Resource and Patient Education Posters:
Abstract should include a brief description of an innovative clinical or patient education resource of value to orthopaedic practitioners.
