Call for 2011 Presentations and Posters
NAON is accepting poster presentation proposals for our 2011 Congress. We are no longer accepting podium presentation proposals. The submission deadline for these types of proposals has passed. The poster presentation proposal submission deadline is Monday, September 13, 2010.

For Poster Presentation Proposals
Poster presenters are expected to register for the conference and assume all arrangements and costs related to the poster session. Posters will be judged during the exhibition and awards will be presented for leading Clinical Practice and Research posters.
Research Posters:
Research proposals should include the following with clear relation to orthopaedic nursing:
Study Title and Author - Abstract no more than 500 characters to include:
- Study Purpose
- Background/Framework
- Research Questions/hypothesis
- Methodology
- Data collection
- Data Analysis and Findings
- Implications
- Conclusion

Education Posters:
Proposals should include innovative patient or staff education content of significance to orthopaedic nurses.

For Podium Presentation Proposals
We are no longer accepting podium presentation proposals. The submission deadline for these types of proposals has passed.
Proposal must include title, purpose, two objectives, summary of content, and implications for orthopaedic nursing. Identify level of the presentation using the scale on the form. Most presentations will be 50 minutes in length with a 10-minute question/answer period; however, there may be an opportunity for an extended session. Complimentary registration for the date of the presentation and a flat honorarium will be provided to one speaker per session. Travel and housing arrangements will be the responsibility of the speaker.
Educational Levels
1 = General healthcare (non-orthopaedic)
2 = Basic orthopaedic healthcare (for those with < 5 years experience)
3 = Intermediate orthopaedic healthcare (for those with 6-15 years experience)
4 = Advance practice orthopaedic healthcare (for APNs and those with > 15 years experience)
