Discussion and Special Interest Group (SIGs) Forums

Welcome to the NAON Discussion and Special Interest Groups (SIGs) Forums. We welcome you to join our online community and ask questions, share information, answer inquiries and engage in valuable networking activities.

The NAON Special Interest Groups Forum (SIGs) are formalized groups that focus on identifying and fostering common special interest areas of orthopaedic nurses. These groups meet annually at Congress and provide networking opportunities to discuss issues and challenges that face orthopaedic nurses. They identify and complete projects that serve as resources, provide support, and enhance the mission of NAON and the roles and practice of orthopaedic nurses.

In your SIG group you can identify with the joys and the griefs that are specific to your patient population. The SIG keeps us from feeling as though we are alone. We are each gifted in certain areas which is illustrated in the work that we do. SIG's are one of the best resources that NAON has to offer!
