• Define risk factors for and prevention of lower extremity traumatic injuries.
• Compare peri-operative care strategies and their role in prevention of complications for the lower extremity traumatic injury patient.
• Determine the content and significance of patient education for the lower extremity traumatic injury patient, family, and other ongoing caregivers.
