Target Audience: Nurses who care for patients with musculoskeletal conditions in any care setting.
Category/Sub-Category: Orthopaedic Nursing Research, Patient Education, Patient Optimization, and Clinical Practice.
1. Gain insight and actionable ideas inspired by improvement projects and posters presented at 2021 Congress. 2. Implement relevant evidence-based practices in the clinical setting to improve outcomes in orthopaedic patient populations.
Posters provide innovative ideas that can be disseminated to other programs, with the ultimate result of improving patient outcomes. Posters at conferences tend to be the product of a program’s “Improvement Project”, where a gap or problem was identified and was seen as an opportunity to improve patient outcomes or clinical practice. Join us for this webinar where four programs will take a deeper dive into their poster presented at the 41st Annual NAON (Virtual) Congress in May of 2021. The presenters will tell the story of the poster, describing what prompted the work that was done, how the project progressed, and the outcome. Each program will share their poster as well.
Education Outcome: At least 50% of participants will report that the session provided information that would cause change(s) in the practice and/or professional environment
