In the course of his training, Dr. Eisler developed an interest in the mechanisms of aging and how they relate to manifest in processes determined by cell biology. He continues this interest in aging with an emphasis on the Aging Spine and ways to best manage the challenges of the aging spine, including osteoporosis. Dr. Eisler’s goal is to evaluate the spinal condition of his patients and to provide the most appropriate conservative care as well as the most effective surgical care depending on the unique presentation of the patient. He will talk about the surgeon perspective through the continuum of care, discuss conservative and surgical approaches and outline some of the standardized protocols utilized by his team.
Education Outcome: At least 50% of participants will report that the session provided information that would cause change(s) in the practice and/or professional environment
