Description:

The Painful Spine covers common acute & chronic spine disorders and provides a detailed discussion of typical presenting complaints, physical exam findings, and imaging results for common chronic and traumatic spine conditions seen in primary care. Evidence-based indications for imaging and various treatment options are discussed for each condition, as well as referral to ancillary services and surgical consultation. The principles included in this session are also presented in a case study format with an opportunity for interactive audience participation and group discussion.
