At this panel, hear more about the body of evidence that supports the use of complementary therapies, such as music as a modality to help patients manage both acute and chronic pain, the exploration of potential adjunct approaches to pain management such as aromatherapy to benefit patient’s pain and rest during the recovery process post total hip and total knee arthroplasty, and how implementation of a comfort menu can enhance patient engagement in their pain treatment plan and improve patient satisfaction with pain management.
