AAOS 2019 Annual Meeting - Call For Proposals
The Call for Proposals for the 2019 Nursing and Allied Health Program will open in early 2018.
Each year, NAON hosts nursing courses as part of the Nursing and Allied Health Program. As always, NAON's goal is to have 70% physician presenters, and 30% allied health professional presenters. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses and their physicians to collaborate on a presentation as well as a chance to represent their hospitals and/or practice.
Presentations should be 30-45 minutes in length and should cover the following topics:
- Infection Prevention
- Pain Management
- Ambulatory/Outpatient Care
- Total Joint (Hip, Knee, Shoulder)
- Nurse Navigation
- Advanced Practice
- Regulatory Issues (i.e. Bundled Payment)
- Patient Outcomes
- Sports Medicine
- Radiographic Interpretation
- Research in Orthopaedics
- Pharmacology in Orthopaedics
- Technology and Trends
- Orthopaedic Oncology
Evaluations and Certificates
The course evaluation process this year will be web-based and will permit participants to evaluate the course sessions online. In order to receive your Nursing Contact Hour Certificate for the conference, you must complete an evaluation. Even if you do not require nursing contact hours, we kindly ask that you complete this evaluation, as your comments and suggestions are very valuable to us.
To access the evaluation, you will need the username and password emailed to you before the conference. If you need to know your username and password, please contact the NAON National Office.
Please visit the Evaluations and Certificates page to access all past AAOS evaluations.
