Orthopaedic Trauma Online Course - Part 2

Part 2 of NAON’s Orthopaedic Trauma Course offers self-guided education to the orthopaedic nurse for current trauma approaches and implications for nursing care. This course builds on the material in Orthopaedic Trauma Online Course - Part 1, but completion of part 1 is not required to take this course. Topics discussed include initial presentation & inpatient management, fractures, wounds & infections, and discharge. Throughout the course, there are assessment questions to check your knowledge. This course also includes an interactive case study to prepare the learner for real life cases. This course could be used for certification study for the ONC or ONP-C, as well as a nurse who practices in a trauma setting.

The learner will earn 1.5 Category A contact hours following successful completion of this course. The learner must view all content, answer required questions, and submit an online evaluation to successfully complete the activity. Only after all requirements are met will a CNE certificate be issued.
