Webinar - Keys to Effective Pre-op Education

Target Audience: Nurses and related healthcare providers in any care setting.

Description:  This webinar will discuss how nurses can provide effective patient education by using evidence-based patient education strategies based on national tools and guidelines. The presenter will define health literacy and explain its impact on health outcomes. 
 

Instructions: After the webinar, the participant will complete the learner evaluation and post-test in the Online Education Center. The post-test is scored at 80% for passing. Once the evaluation and post-tests are completed, the participant will be able to access the CNE certificate. Upon successful completion of this activity, participants will be awarded 1.0 ANCC Contact Hours and a certificate of completion. The participant must view the entire webinar, complete an online post-test , and online evaluation. Only after these requirements are completed will a certificate will be issued.

National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
