The trend from inpatient to outpatient has marked a tipping point as programs across the country work to achieve excellent outcomes. A panel of presenters from four different programs will present strategies and actions that have resulted in great outcomes for the Outpatient Orthopaedic surgery patient population. Each program will share about their journey, successes and lessons learned. There will be time for open forum (including polling questions, and Q&A) for the rest of the webinar. General Topics to be addressed include: Patient selection criteria, Preoperative preparation and optimization, Successful perioperative practices, Patient education, Role of the Caregiver/coach and Discharge criteria.
