Q: Can a presenter earn contact hours for the session at which she/he is presenting?
A: No, poster presenters cannot claim contact hours for poster that they present. They may, however, claim credit for any other posters presented during their scheduled session for which they are not actively presenting.
Q: What type of attire should I wear during my poster presentation?
A: The suggested dress for all attendees is business casual, please no jeans or shorts. The session rooms tend to be cool in temperature, so bringing a light jacket or sweater is recommended.
Q. How long will I need to speak on stage while presenting my poster?
A. Poster presenters will have UP TO 4 MINUTES to explain their poster to the attendees. We ask that you take some time to practice your quick presentation ahead of time to ensure that you adhere to the 3-4 minute time limit, so we don't fall behind in the schedule. You may hold a notecard or paper with you while you present. We will have volunteers assisting on site to hold up signs at the one minute and two-minute mark during your presentation. We will also encourage attendees to use the Congress app to ask any questions they may have about your poster, for which then you may answer through the app.
