Online ONP-C Review Course
Exam Prep for the NP now available. NAON’s Online ONP-C course for the orthopaedic Nurse Practitioner offers a complete review for those seeking specialty certification. NAON has identified the list of topic areas, with each module mapped to the ONCB ONP-C® exam content areas, and the number of exam questions are listed for each module to assist the learner with organization for their study. A new content area added for the 2023 revision is a Physical Assessment section and an interactive message board for learners to share resources and discuss content with peers as a virtual group.
Earn 7.5 category A contact hours by reviewing the entire course, answering all questions, and completing the online evaluation.

Learner outcomes for the course include:
- Examine orthopaedic patient problems encountered on a frequent or infrequent basis by the nurse practitioner (NP)
- Apply evidence-based research findings for challenging orthopaedic patient situations to create optimal outcomes in current nursing practice
- Evaluate advanced patient plans of care to address common and uncommon orthopaedic patient outcomes
- Review assessments, diagnostic tests, and appropriate pharmacologic or non-pharmacologic interventions to orthopaedic conditions.
Course duration: Once the course is launched, the learner will have 270 days (9 months) to complete the modules and evaluation. Successful course completion is required for the CNE certificate.
