Announcing the Fellow of National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses Inaugural Class
We are excited to announce the inaugural class of NAON Fellows. The NAON Fellow Designation (FNAON) demonstrates commitment to the orthopaedic nursing profession beyond the normal role requirement and the highest standards of practice. It is the most distinguished and honorable level of membership, as well as a public hallmark of professional esteem. Fellows are outstanding leaders, leaving behind them an enduring legacy of accomplishment that will continue to shape or guide the profession.
Nurses who are designated as fellows have demonstrated outstanding leadership in orthopaedic nursing and contributed sustained and notable additions to the specialty beyond their work environment at a regional, state, national, and even global level. Recipients of this designation have achieved success in the field of orthopaedics, provided academic accomplishment, mentorship, advocacy, volunteer service, and demonstrated their commitment to advancing the specialty and the association.
