Volunteer to Serve ONCB!
ONCB is seeking certificants with a passion to shape the future for certified nurses! The Call for volunteers is open to those interested in serving on a committee or the Board of Directors. Volunteering to serve ONCB is a leadership opportunity that shouldn’t be missed. The deadline for Call for Volunteers is Monday, August 31st.
ONCB is also looking for a new public member to serve on the Board of Directors, someone who has experience in healthcare, certification, testing and assessment, law, finance and more. If you know someone who has some or all of the listed experience, encourage them to apply to be ONCB’s newest public member. The deadline for the Public Member application is Monday, August 31st.

ONCB’s Voucher Program
ONCB offers the Voucher Program for facilities that would like an easy way to bulk purchase ONC® or ONP-C® Exams to cover exam fees for their nurses. Organizations can support their nurses seeking ONCB certifications by covering exam fees through vouchers. Vouchers can also be used along with ONCB’s Retest for Success program (link to: https://www.oncb.org/retestforsuccess/), providing a second chance to nurses if they do not pass the certification exam the first time, providing nurses with additional support when pursuing certification.

NAON and ONCB jointly sponsor a scholarship specifically for orthopaedic nursing certification preparation materials. To promote the value of certification and NAON membership, awards are available only to non-certified NAON members. This scholarship is awarded to one individual pursuing the ONC® certification and one individual pursuing ONP-C® certification.

Clara Donahoo, RN & Joseph Dimon, MD Memorial Clinical Legacy Lectureship
This special opportunity allows the selected recipient to present a 60-minute General Session at the 2027 Annual Congress. The recipient will also receive a $2,000 honorarium and be offered the opportunity to publish the lecture in Orthopaedic Nursing.
