Let's Go to Louisville

It’s that time of year! With the first whispers of sunshine and spring flowers, March marks the start of a fresh new season.  As Spring brings us warmer weather and vibrant colors, it also brings us some reasons to celebrate. Over this past year, I have been through a medical journey leaving me in an immunocompromised state.  To avoid any potential for illness, I have had to isolate from others for nearly eight months. I am happy to report that I am on the road to recovery, and I truly celebrate each new day and the opportunities they bring. While it has been difficult for this social girl to have limited contact with friends and co-workers, this Spring I am celebrating my recovery, and am beyond excited that I get to participate in so many activities that I took for granted before.

In just two short months,  I get to join all of my NAON friends as we gather together for our 44th NAON Congress in Louisville, KY.  Whether you are new to NAON, have never been to Congress, or are joining us again, you won’t want to miss your opportunity to attend this live, in-person event.   Congress is an amazing opportunity where we get to learn from our colleagues and orthopaedic content experts from all over the country on a variety of topics to include recent trends, clinical updates, and best practices.  You can select courses to meet your individual needs and can earn up to 34 continuing nursing education hours.  Attending Congress will also provide you with networking opportunities with fellow attendees, speakers, and vendors from all subspecialties within orthopaedics and across the care continuum.

Putting together a Congress requires a lot of planning and resources and we are proud to be able to offer this year’s event in person.  Don’t take this opportunity for granted, or put it off until next time, because next year our 2025 Congress will only be offered in a virtual capacity.  So the time is NOW!  If you haven’t already registered, it’s not too late.  Visit our website for the full schedule of events and the link to register and join me in Louisville for networking, learning, and fun!

And don’t forget to register for the NAON Foundation event on May 19th which will take place at the Frazier History Museum – the official starting point of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.  There we will tour the cool exhibit, network over dinner, and dance the night away with friends and colleagues. To sign up for this separate evening event, go to www.NAONFoundation.org.

I look forward to seeing you all there – Let’s Go!!!
